Ari Melenciano is   

Ari Melenciano is a Brooklyn-based multimedia artist, designer, creative technologist and humanist passionate about designing moments of euphoria through the creation of  beautiful experiences.



She is currently a master's candidate of New York University's Interactive Telecommunications Program. As a graduate student, she studies and practices at the intersection of experiential design and emerging technologies via creative computation, human computer interaction, engineering and design.


Outside of class, Ari is the founder of the creative house, bgoti; lifestyle movement, Be Gold On The Inside; building a line of experimental and "NeoRetro" digital analog cameras, Ojo Oro; founder and director of the New Media Arts, Culture and Technology Festival, Afrotectopia; founder and director of Publics.School, a platform exploring experimental methods to disseminate social justice issues; Founder and Director of Justice Factory, an interactive data visualization tool for activists;  founder of AricianoTV, a online video tutorial channel on creative coding; and a VJ/DJ, with a residency in Brooklyn, NYC.
